Your data
Where your inspection data is held, who processes it, how long we keep it, and who is responsible for the report.
Phone or browser
Your inspectors capture photographs and observations.
Stored in Ireland
Supabase, Ireland (EU) region.
Processed by AI
Cloud GPUs and AI models, which can be outside the UK and EU.
Your engineers
Check and edit the draft.
Your finished report
Word or PDF, issued under your firm’s name.
Stored in Ireland
We store inspection records and photographs with our database provider, Supabase, in its Ireland (EU) region. Each firm’s data is kept separate from every other firm’s at database level.
Where AI processing happens
Our computer vision runs on cloud GPUs from RunPod, which can be in the EU, the USA, Canada, India or Japan. AI Scan and AI writing use models from Anthropic, Google or OpenAI, which are based in the USA. This means data can be processed outside the UK and EU.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection records for 7 years by default, and your firm can shorten this. We delete the text taken from reports you upload as house-style examples after 90 days; the documents themselves stay until you delete them.
Your photographs train our models only if you opt in
Training is off by default. If your firm opts in, the data is de-identified first, with faces and number plates blurred.
Who can see it
Access is by invitation only. Sign-in needs a password and a one-time code sent by email. Files are stored privately and shown only through links that expire within an hour. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
The report is yours
AECAI produces drafts. The report is yours: your engineers check it, edit it and issue it under your firm’s name. AECAI does not give engineering advice.
Agreed in writing first
Before a pilot starts, we agree in writing how your firm’s data is handled. We can give you the full list of service providers we use at the same time.
For this website and enquiries, see our privacy notice.

We’ll show you the whole workflow, from site photographs to a finished report. The pilot is free, including an allowance of AI use.
